Limagrain UK is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the Cricket Goundsman of the Year Awards 2009 run by Cricket World magazine and Pitchcare.

Richard Holdsworth, ICC Regional Development Manager – Europe, explained the thinking behind this important initiative.

"The Awards are designed to raise the interest and awareness of Groundsmanship and to encourage and promote groundsmen, in cricket, at all levels and throughout Europe."

The ultimate winners are nominated for the outstanding quality of the playing surface, general upkeep of the ground, longevity of service or an ‘against all odds’ type of Achievement Award. The winners will be attending a Presentation at Lord’s Cricket Ground at the end of the season."
