As a major force in the UK’s wholesale seed trade we have a well balanced service infrastructure which enables us to satisfy the needs of our trade customers and, in turn, the ultimate users of our various forage and amenity seed products.

Many of the branded lines we market, whether forage crops for livestock farmers or amenity grasses for sports fields and landscape projects, are available ex stock for immediate despatch. We use a number of companies for the distribution of seed and subject to time scales and order sizes we are able to offer an overnight delivery service for some lines. Our computer facilities enable us to track all orders with ease.

We also have distribution facilities in Scotland to ensure that orders north of the border can be handled promptly and efficiently.

As a customer focused business we believe it is important to have a strong technical backup service to support our broad product portfolio. We have a field based team for agricultural forage seeds and another team for our two amenity grass brands. In addition we have a very comprehensive library of Technical Information with many of the booklets/fact sheets/catalogues available for immediate browsing – and therefore instant answers - on line.

Our fully equipped laboratory is at the heart of our Quality Control Programme and our Team of analysts ensure that all the seeds we market meet the high levels we have set above the legal requirements. Another important aspect of the overall package is the trialling we undertake. This programme is not only designed to highlight the value of ‘pipeline’ varieties to the UK’s forage and amenity grass markets but also enables us to provide valuable on-going information on established crops.
